Use The Vacuum – One of the most common and best ways to quickly clean your mattress is by using your vacuum. By simply taking the upholstery attachment of your vacuum and dragging it from the top of the mattress to the bottom can eliminate germs, bacteria and odor.

Sprinkle The Deodorizer – Bed odors is something that can be easily overlooked as most of us are used to our own scent. Don’t let that stop you from keeping your bed smelling fresh! Sprinkle baking soda over the mattress and let sit for 10 minutes. Afterwards, vacuum up baking soda. If you want add a scent to your mattress, you can spray febreze or sprinkle a scented deodorizer down after the baking soda. If you go with the latter option, you will have to also vacuum up the scented deodorizer.

Get Rid of Stains – Stains on a mattress are common especially if you have kids and/or pets in your bed. All mattress stains should be treated and not left unattended. Some good household stain removers are: rubbing alcohol, laundry detergent, citrus based cleaners, disinfectant sprays, and hydrogen peroxide.
