John’s Corn Flake Wreaths

  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 (10 ounce) package regular marshmallows or 4 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 tsp green food coloring
  • 6 cups corn flakes
  • Red cinnamon candies
  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat
  2. Slowly add marshmallows and stir until completely melted
  3. Remove from heat
  4. Stir in food coloring
  5. Add corn flakes
  6. Stir until well coated
  7. Using 1/4 cup dry measure coated with cooking spray, evenly portion warm cereal mixture
  8. Using buttered fingers, quickly shape into individual wreaths
  9. Dot with cinnamon candies

Melinda’s Favorite Pumpkin Bread

  • 1 15 oz can of pumpkin puree
  • 4 eggs
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ cup applesauce
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup organic cane sugar
  • 3 ½ cups unbleached flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • ½ tsp ground cloves
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 3 7×3 inch loaf pans
  2. In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, eggs, oil, applesauce, water and sugar until well blended
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger
  4. Stir the dry ingredients into the pumpkin mixture until just blended. Pour into the prepared pans
  5. Bake for about 50 minutes in the preheated oven. Loaves are done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean

Danessa’s Reindeer Oreo Pops

  • 1 package Oreos
  • White (or dark) chocolate bark
  • Red hot candies
  • Pretzels
  • White confetti sprinkles
  • Lollipop sticks
  1. Melt a piece or two of the chocolate bark, stick your lollipop stick in the chocolate and then place it in the creme filling of the Oreo. Try not to take the sides off the Oreo, just push your lollipop stick between the cookies. Doing so will prevent “Oreo breakage”
  2. After all the lollipop sticks are in place, wait about 30 minutes or until the chocolate is complete dry before you start dipping the Oreos in the chocolate, that way they won’t fall off the sticks
  3. Once the chocolate is completely dry, melt some more of your chocolate bark and then dip the Oreo into the chocolate until it is completely covered. Tap off any extra chocolate
  4. Decorate them however you want and then set them on wax paper to dry
